JOB PURPOSE: The Regional Technical Sales Manager leads the technical sales capability across MENAT, driving revenue growth through customer engagement, solution development, and proposal excellence. The role serves as the technical interface between customers, Account Management, Product Lines, Engineering, and Operations to deliver differentiated solutions that accelerate pipeline conversion, increase technology adoption and proposal quality. KEY ACTIVITIES: Technical Sales Leadership • Lead technical strategy for customer opportunities. • Develop differentiated technical solutions aligned with customer objectives. • Support strategic account growth through technical engagement. • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and solution reviews. Proposal Management • Lead preparation of high-quality technical proposals. • Coordinate proposal development across Engineering, Product Lines, Operations, and Commercial teams. • Improve proposal quality, consistency, and response time. • Support technical risk assessments and bid reviews. Customer Engagement • Build trusted relationships with customer technical and operational teams. • Identify customer challenges and develop value-driven solutions. • Support bid clarifications, technical negotiations, and customer evaluations. Regional Capability Development • Build and strengthen the regional technical sales capability. • Develop proposal standards, tools, and best practices. • Coach Account Managers on technical solution positioning. • Capture and share technical knowledge across the region. Business Growth • Support market expansion and strategic growth initiatives. • Drive adoption of new technologies and product offerings. • Identify opportunities to expand customer applications and increase market penetration. Cross Functional Collaboration • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Product Lines, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver integrated customer solutions. • Act as the regional technical focal point throughout the sales process. Systems & Compliance • Maintain accurate opportunity data within Salesforce CRM. • Ensure technical documentation complies with company standards. • Adhere to company QHSE, compliance, and governance requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical or related discipline) Preferred: Master’s degree in business management or related discipline EXPERIENCE & Technical Knowledge Experience • 10+ years' experience in Oil & Gas technical sales, applications engineering, product management, or business development. • Experience developing technical solutions and customer proposals. • Strong customer-facing experience supporting strategic accounts. • Experience working across multidisciplinary and international teams. Technical Knowledge • Production and completion systems. • Well intervention and production optimization. • Technical proposal development. • Commercial awareness. • CRM systems (Salesforce). • Microsoft Office.
