The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for language and literature, all within the framework of the American curriculum. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging and effective English Language Arts (ELA) instruction to students in Cycle 2 and Cycle 3. • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with the American Common Core State Standards for ELA. • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and school development. • Contribute to the school's extra-curricular program and wider community initiatives. Requirements: 1. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in English, English Literature, Education with an English specialization, or a closely related field from an accredited university. • A Master's Degree in Education or Diploma in Education • Or a valid, professional teaching license from UAE 2. Experience Requirements: • Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience in English Language Arts within an American curriculum school setting. • Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations across Cycle 2 (Grades 5-8) and Cycle 3 (Grades 9-12). • Proven track record of fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. • Experience with integrating technology effectively into the classroom to enhance learning outcomes. 3.
