Construction Manager

We are hiring - Construction Manager Role Description: The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion. This role includes managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring that work is executed according to design, quality standards, and local regulations. The Construction Manager will monitor project schedules, control budgets, and track progress to meet milestones and contractual commitments. Daily tasks include supervising site teams, enforcing construction safety protocols, resolving technical issues, and communicating with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The role also involves preparing reports, participating in progress meetings, and driving continuous improvement in construction methods and project outcomes. Key requirements: • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in construction management. • Extensive experience in managing construction projects from commencement to completion. • Dubai Municipality and/or Abu Dhabi Municipality certification/accreditation is required. • Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, building codes, standards, and procedures. • Proven experience in managing site operations, construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. • Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, and HSE requirements. • Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to effectively monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Additional advantages: • Candidates holding Dubai Municipality and/or Abu Dhabi Municipality Steel Structural Accreditation or Certification will have a strong advantage. • Trakhees accreditation/certification is a plus factor. • Candidates who are available to join immediately will have an added advantage. Qualifications: • Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multidisciplinary project activities. • Candidates should possess Budgeting and Project Control skills to plan costs, monitor expenditures, manage schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Candidates should possess expertise in Construction and Construction Safety to oversee technical execution, enforce safety standards, and comply with local building codes and regulations. • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are preferred. • Previous experience managing medium to large-scale building projects, ideally in Dubai or the wider Middle East region, is highly beneficial. • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in construction management software and MS Office, are important for success in this role.
