And we are currently looking for professional full-time Area Sales Manager to join our team for the following role: Title: Area Sales Manager Industry: Packaging and Adhesives Function: Sales Reporting to: Business Manager Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates About the Job The Area Sales Manager for Coding Machines will drive sales and business development activities to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership across the Middle East region. The role focuses on promoting and selling industrial coding and marking solutions to manufacturing customers, with a particular emphasis on the pharmaceutical and food industries. The successful candidate will develop and manage relationships with key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and provide consultative sales support to end users. They will work closely with customers to understand production and traceability requirements, recommend suitable coding and marking technologies, and coordinate with technical and commercial teams to deliver effective solutions. The role requires regular engagement with manufacturers, production facilities, engineering teams, and procurement stakeholders, as well as participation in industry events and trade exhibitions to stay informed of market developments, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. The candidate should have experience working with industrial coding and marking solutions from leading brands such as Domino, Hitachi, Linx, Markem-Imaje, Videojet, or similar technologies. This position reports directly to the Business Manager. Responsibilities • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed commercial and financial targets across the assigned territory. • Drive direct sales activities with manufacturing end users, particularly within the pharmaceutical and food production sectors. • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing key accounts. • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations. • Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong long-term business relationships. • Support customers in selecting suitable coding and marking technologies based on their production requirements. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and industry developments. • Collaborate with internal technical, pre-sales, marketing, and service teams to deliver effective customer solutions. • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and business activity records using company sales tools and reporting systems. • Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and trade events to generate leads and strengthen market presence. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in coding & marking equipment, packaging machinery, industrial automation, or similar manufacturing technologies. • Proven experience with coding and marking solutions such as Domino, Hitachi, Linx, Markem-Imaje, Videojet, or equivalent brands. • Demonstrated success in direct sales to manufacturing end users and managing key accounts. • Experience serving pharmaceutical and food manufacturing customers is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, coding & marking technologies, traceability, and packaging line operations. • Ability to engage effectively with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and procurement stakeholders. • Strong sales, negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets. • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and willing to travel extensively across the Middle East. • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
