Procurement Specialist Location: UAE Salary: AED 8,000 – AED 10,000 per month About the Role MAK Developers LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction projects and real estate development operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sourcing construction materials, subcontractors, and service providers while ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Manage the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, purchasing, and delivery coordination. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers for construction and real estate development projects. • Obtain and analyze quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements. • Prepare, review, and manage Purchase Orders (POs), procurement contracts, and related documentation. • Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and site teams to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and operational requirements. • Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, and procurement plans to avoid shortages and project delays. • Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards to ensure compliance with project specifications. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service. • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry best practices. • Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, savings reports, and vendor performance evaluations for management review. • Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and payment discrepancies. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5+ years of proven procurement experience within a Contracting Company, Construction Company, Real Estate Developer, or Building Materials Industry. • Strong experience in procurement of construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, subcontractor packages, and project-related services. • Proficiency in preparing, managing, and tracking Purchase Orders (POs). • Demonstrated expertise in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, vendor relationship management, and supplier performance assessment. • Strong contract negotiation skills with experience finalizing commercial and contractual terms. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analysis, budgeting support, inventory management, and procurement planning. • Thorough understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and industry best practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ERP procurement systems. • Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of UAE construction and real estate procurement practices is highly preferred.
