Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager – Mortgage Sales to drive business growth through strategic partnerships and third-party sales channels. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the bank's mortgage portfolio by developing and managing relationships with real estate agencies, mortgage brokers, property developers, and other referral partners. You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, increasing market penetration, and delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the mortgage journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong business development and relationship management skills, a solid understanding of the UAE mortgage market, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of mortgage applications while identifying opportunities to enhance customer acquisition and business growth. What You Will Be Doing Business Development & Channel Management • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with real estate agencies, mortgage brokers, property developers, and other referral partners. • Identify, establish, and grow new business channels to expand the mortgage customer base. • Conduct regular engagement sessions and product awareness activities with channel partners. • Build a strong external referral network to drive sustainable mortgage sales growth. Sales & Revenue Generation • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual mortgage sales targets. • Maximize business opportunities through partner referrals and strategic alliances. • Drive acquisition of New-to-Bank (NTB) customers and increase market share. • Identify cross-selling opportunities for other banking products and services. Customer Experience & Relationship Management • Ensure a seamless customer journey from lead generation to mortgage disbursement. • Support customers and referral partners throughout the application and approval process. • Maintain high service standards and proactively resolve customer concerns. • Build long-term relationships with customers and business partners. Process Management & Operational Excellence • Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Legal, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth mortgage processing. • Ensure timely collection and submission of required customer documentation. • Monitor application status and ensure adherence to defined turnaround times (TAT). • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within CRM systems. Market Intelligence & Strategy • Stay informed of UAE mortgage market trends, property market developments, competitor offerings, and regulatory updates. • Provide market feedback and business insights to support product enhancements and sales strategies. • Identify emerging opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve channel performance and customer acquisition. Reporting & Compliance • Prepare and share regular sales pipeline reports, partner performance updates, and MIS reports. • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, risk guidelines, and UAE Central Bank regulations. • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes. What We're Looking For Education • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Experience • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mortgage sales, business development, or retail banking sales within the UAE. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful business partnerships. • Strong understanding of the UAE mortgage market, products, and regulatory landscape Skills & Competencies • Strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills. • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities. • Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending processes, and customer acquisition strategies. • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. • Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment. • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. • Strong analytical and market awareness capabilities.
