Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, supporting both roastery and coffee shop operations. This role manages day-to-day HR activities including employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining personnel records, and administering benefits and leave. The HR Generalist supports the development and implementation of HR policies, ensures compliance with local labor regulations, and responds to employee inquiries and concerns. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating recruitment and selection processes, assisting with performance management, handling Payroll, and promoting a positive work environment aligned with company values. The role works closely with management to support workforce planning, training, and employee engagement initiatives. Qualifications • Strong foundational knowledge in HR and HR Management, including exposure to generalist responsibilities. • Ability to develop, interpret, and implement HR Policies that align with local labor laws and company standards. • Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication to employees. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively with diverse teams. • Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. • Familiarity with HR information systems or HR software; proficiency in MS Office tools. • Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage. • Experience working in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage environments is beneficial, especially in the UAE or GCC region.
