Job Scope The Product Manager will play a key role in developing and executing the marketing strategy for an assigned portfolio of psychiatry and neuroscience products. The role will be responsible for translating market insights, patient needs, clinical developments, and healthcare professional feedback into effective brand strategies and promotional initiatives. The Product Manager will work closely with psychiatrists, neurologists, hospital stakeholders, key opinion leaders, sales teams, and cross-functional departments to strengthen brand positioning, increase market penetration, and achieve annual business objectives. Core Responsibilities • Develop and execute annual brand plans, including growth, positioning, differentiation, and competitive defense strategies for the assigned psychiatry and neuroscience portfolio. • Build a strong understanding of the UAE mental health and neuroscience market, including treatment pathways, patient journeys, prescribing behaviours, competitor activity, and unmet medical needs. • Develop and implement product launch and pre-launch plans, including market assessment, forecasting, market sizing, pricing, access considerations, positioning, and stakeholder engagement. • Create clear and clinically relevant product value propositions, key messages, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans targeting psychiatrists, neurologists, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals. • Develop scientific and promotional materials across digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with approved product indications, medical evidence, and local regulatory requirements. • Partner with Medical Affairs to communicate relevant clinical evidence, treatment guidelines, disease awareness information, and product differentiation. • Plan and execute medical education programmes, scientific meetings, congress participation, advisory boards, speaker programmes, webinars, and other healthcare professional engagement activities. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, psychiatrists, neurologists, hospital decision-makers, and other key stakeholders across the UAE. • Support the development of patient awareness and disease education initiatives, particularly within mental health, depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, epilepsy, migraine, and other relevant neuroscience conditions. • Train and coach the sales team on disease knowledge, product positioning, clinical evidence, objection handling, competitive messaging, and promotional cycle priorities. • Conduct regular field visits and joint calls with the sales team to assess market execution, customer feedback, and brand performance. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, prescription patterns, treatment guidelines, and emerging developments within psychiatry and neuroscience. • Track brand performance against agreed KPIs, sales targets, market share, campaign effectiveness, and customer engagement indicators. • Prepare monthly performance reports highlighting marketing activities, market feedback, competitor developments, risks, and recommended actions. • Manage the product lifecycle and recommend portfolio expansion, indication development, line extensions, or other opportunities based on market needs. • Ensure all marketing activities and materials comply with company policies, ethical standards, UAE regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical promotional guidelines. • Demonstrate strong project management skills and coordinate effectively with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and external agencies. Basic Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline. • Minimum of three years of pharmaceutical product management or brand management experience. • Proven experience managing products within psychiatry, mental health, central nervous system, neurology, or neuroscience therapeutic areas. • Strong understanding of the UAE pharmaceutical market, healthcare system, and relevant customer landscape. • Experience engaging with psychiatrists, neurologists, key opinion leaders, hospitals, and healthcare institutions. • Demonstrated experience in brand planning, product launches, forecasting, market analysis, campaign development, and sales-force training. • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to translate complex clinical and scientific information into clear, impactful product communications. • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage. • Willingness to travel within the UAE and, when required, across the GCC. Preferred Requirements • Previous experience with a multinational or established regional pharmaceutical company. • Established relationships with psychiatry and neuroscience key opinion leaders in the UAE. • Experience managing innovative, specialty-care, or prescription pharmaceutical products. • Experience with product launches, market access initiatives, and omnichannel healthcare professional engagement. • MBA, postgraduate qualification, or professional diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred Show more Show less
