Role Summary The Senior Product Manager – Ophthalmology will play a critical role in driving Jamjoom Pharma's growth within the UAE healthcare market. The role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, strengthening brand positioning, maximizing market penetration, and ensuring the successful commercialization of the ophthalmology portfolio. Working closely with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, and healthcare authorities, the Product Manager will deliver impactful marketing initiatives, support successful product launches, and contribute to sustainable business growth. Responsibilities • Develops and executes annual brand plans aligned with the overall business strategy and commercial objectives. • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of market research, business performance, customer insights, historical trends, competitive landscape, and unmet market needs. • Identifies business opportunities and market challenges across both private and institutional/tender sectors and develops appropriate action plans. • Tracks and analyses brand and competitor performance, market dynamics, and key growth drivers, recommending actions to maximize brand performance. • Utilizes market analytics, business intelligence and available data sources to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. • Supports the implementation of marketing initiatives in accordance with approved brand plans and Jamjoom Pharma SOPs. • Supports new product launches by developing launch plans, executing key initiatives, monitoring performance against predefined KPIs, and implementing corrective actions where needed. • Develops sales forecasts and financial assumptions to support business planning and new business case evaluations. • Monitors promotional budgets against actual spending and regularly reports budget utilization and ROI to the Marketing Manager. • Develops promotional campaigns, sales tools, scientific materials and customer engagement programs to maximize field force effectiveness. • Drives digital marketing initiatives, CRM programs and omnichannel customer engagement while monitoring performance through defined KPIs. • Collaborates effectively with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. • Works closely with Supply Chain to support demand forecasting, product availability and inventory optimization. • Identifies, develops and maintains strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, pharmacy chains, key accounts and relevant healthcare stakeholders. • Supports Medical Affairs in identifying local advocates and emerging speakers for scientific and educational programs. • Supports Sales Force Excellence by delivering product training and providing regular market, competitor and product updates. • Maintains a strong understanding of UAE healthcare regulations, compliance requirements and ethical promotional practices, ensuring all marketing activities comply with local regulations and Jamjoom Pharma SOPs. • Anticipates market changes, identifies business opportunities and proposes appropriate mitigation and growth strategies. • Demonstrates sound business judgment and makes data-driven recommendations to support commercial success. • Effectively manages multiple priorities, projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of execution. • Builds strong cross-functional relationships and collaborates effectively to deliver business goals. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required. • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing is preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3-5 years in Brand Management. • Experience in the Ophthalmology therapeutic area is highly preferred. • Experience in branded generics and new product launches is considered an advantage. • Strong understanding of the UAE healthcare system, pharmaceutical market, regulatory environment, institutional and private sectors. • Experience working with business intelligence and market research databases (e.g., IQVIA) • Strong medical and scientific knowledge. • Good knowledge of digital marketing, CRM platforms, omnichannel engagement and marketing analytics. • Experience in sales forecasting, promotional budget management and financial analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
