To carry out day - to – day operational activities within the warehouse in an efficient and accurate manner. Job Duties: • Manpower Planning – Decides on number of manpower required to meet monthly warehouse operations targets and ensure operational efficiency basing on historical and actual data such as leave and absenteeism history, fluctuation in volumes, etc. • Resolves escalated issues pertaining to warehouse and client complaints • Verifies accuracy of data generated from system Initiates corrections whenever necessary • Prepares Daily Activity Report using data entries. • Discuss with the management team with regards to the year’s targets and translates them into goals for the whole warehouse division • Communicates the monthly quality and safety themes to the warehouse associates • Investigates safety incidents and ensure timely fulfillment of incident reporting into the database • Monitors and updates warehouse associates skills training matrix and ensure proper training is given prior actual work performance of an associate • Audit warehouse operations processes and recommend improvements and / or changes to standard work whenever necessary • Ensures the timeliness and manages the process of Employee Performance Evaluation basing on essential feedback from Warehouse Coordinators and data results of each warehouse associate’s performance • Communication Cascade – Initiates/ leads group meetings amongst warehouse associates for any pertinent information required to be conveyed to them • Communicates constantly with other departments for any operational issues • Maintains warehouse operations ISO and NOS – related documents • Resolve errors in outbound deliveries • Respond to email concerns of customer service and transport departments • Should have EWM/SAP knowledge • Communicates constantly with other departments for any operational issues • Carry out Ad hoc operational responsibilities Skill & Job Requirements: • The position requires a Bachelor’s degree; with 5 years related experience in distribution, warehouse or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices, distribution and warehouse operations including receiving, order filling, loading and inventory methods and practices; safety and the use of warehouse equipment. • Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions. • Capability to lead, with a good sense of teamwork • Good level of written and spoken English • Should possess EWM/SAP knowledge • We are seeking candidates inside the country ( UAE ) • Capability to lead, with a good sense of teamwork • Good level of written and spoken English Location: Jebel Ali Free zone, Dubai, UAE.
