About The Role We are looking for an Operations Manager to own the floor at our multi-temperature, ISO 22000 food facility in Dubai. This is a hands-on, lead-from-the-front role. Your mission is simple but critical: keep our service levels, order accuracy, and food safety standards exceptionally high through sharp daily execution and strong team leadership, especially as we navigate our Q4 peak and embed our brand-new production facility. Primary Responsibilities: • Floor & Fulfilment Operations: Run the day-to-day inbound, storage, picking/packing, and dispatch operations across all our channels (HORECA, retail, eCommerce, and wholesale). • Maintain Service Excellence: Hold the line on service levels (fill rate / OTIF) and order accuracy through both normal and high-volume peak periods. • Cold-Chain & Food Safety: Enforce strict SOPs, health & safety, and cold-chain discipline across frozen, chilled, and ambient zones. Uphold ISO 22000 / HACCP standards (temperature logs, traceability, allergen controls). • Inventory Control: Manage cycle counting, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and near-expiry controls to aggressively reduce stock loss. • Team Leadership: Lead, roster, and develop a diverse team of 20+ supervisors, controllers, pickers, packers, and forklift operators. Plan staffing demand, manage overtime, and optimize labor costs. • Performance & Data: Track and act on operational KPIs (cost per order, pick/pack rate, dock-to-stock). We need genuine quantitative ability here—someone who uses data to find root causes and drive continuous improvement, not just write reports. What You Need To Excel • Experience: 5+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally within the Food & Beverage or FMCG sectors. • The Right Mindset: You love being on the floor. This is a lead-from-the-floor role, not a desk job. • Technical Know-How: Strong WMS knowledge, inventory-system proficiency, and deep experience with multi-temperature/cold-chain environments and food safety protocols (ISO 22000 / HACCP). • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing, motivating, and rostering a team of 20+ operational staff. • Analytical Power: Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong comfort level working with operational data to drive efficiency. • Tech & AI Savvy: Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow.
