Role Description The Project Manager – Bridges – Dubai is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing bridge construction projects from initiation to completion. The position involves planning project scope, timelines, and resources; coordinating with engineering, construction, logistics, and procurement teams; and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day activities include monitoring project progress, managing budgets, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and resolving on-site issues to keep work on schedule. The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities, and prepare regular status reports and documentation. This role is based in Dubai and requires a strong presence on project sites to ensure effective supervision and timely decision-making. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for bridge or civil infrastructure projects. • Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation from suppliers and subcontractors. • Candidates should possess Inspection skills, with experience in quality control, site inspections, and compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards. • Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, material handling, and on-site logistics for construction activities. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, chartered engineer) is an advantage. • Proven experience managing bridge or major infrastructure projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. • Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management abilities, with clear written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and contract management practices, along with proficiency in project management and engineering software.
