Project Manager (High-Rise Construction & Steel Structural Works)

Hiring: Project Manager (High-Rise Construction & Steel Structural Works) Location: Dubai (On-site) Company: Confidential Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED 15,000–20,000 per month (Based on Experience) About Us A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, and steel structure developments. Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of high-rise building and steel structural projects from inception to handover. • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance to achieve contractual and company objectives. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. • Oversee all site activities, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and steel structural works. • Manage structural steel fabrication, delivery, erection, alignment, welding, bolting, and inspection activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and cost targets. • Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals. • Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, local authority requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE policies. • Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and clients. • Identify project risks, technical challenges, and commercial issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies. • Monitor procurement activities, subcontractor performance, material deliveries, and site logistics. • Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, claims, and resource allocation. • Ensure successful project close-out, testing and commissioning coordination, snagging, and final handover. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • 8–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role. • Mandatory experience managing high-rise building projects and steel structural works. • Previous UAE construction industry experience is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, structural steel fabrication and erection, finishing works, and MEP coordination. • Sound understanding of project planning, cost control, contract administration, and construction methodologies. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office. Experience with BIM is an advantage. • Good knowledge of UAE building codes, authority requirements, FIDIC contracts, quality management systems, and HSE regulations. • Proven leadership, team management, negotiation, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
