Job Purpose The Project Manager (Civil) is responsible for the complete physical delivery of high-rise tower projects in Abu Dhabi. This is a "ground-to-roof" role, requiring the candidate to manage everything from the initial base/substructure works through the superstructure and ending with the final finishing and handover. Key Responsibilities (Full Project Lifecycle) 1. The Base: Substructure & Foundations • Lead the site mobilization, enabling works, and deep basement construction (piling, shoring, and dewatering). • Direct the execution of the raft foundation, ensuring strict adherence to thermal mass concrete pouring requirements and structural waterproofing. 2. The Tower: Structural Superstructure • Oversee the "typical floor" construction cycle, managing high-performance concrete verticality and post-tensioning (PT) slab sequences. • Manage the deployment of high-rise specific equipment, including tower cranes, passenger hoists, and placing booms. • Coordinate the civil-structural interface with the building envelope/façade installation to ensure the building is "sealed" according to the master schedule. 3. The Finishing: Architectural & Civil Works • Take full ownership of internal civil finishing works: masonry, plaster, screed, tiling, and high-end floor/wall finishes. • Manage the integration of architectural fit-out elements, ensuring that the "shell and core" are perfectly prepared for luxury installations. • Lead the Snagging and De-snagging process, ensuring all civil finishes meet the 5-star quality benchmarks required by the client. 4. Project Administration & Abu Dhabi Compliance • Authorities: Act as the primary lead for all Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD) inspections and permits. • Sustainability: Ensure the project meets Estidama Pearl Rating requirements for civil materials and waste management. • Planning & Budget: Manage the project’s critical path using Primavera P6 and maintain strict control over the civil budget and subcontractor variations. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Accredited/Attested). 15–20 years of total experience in the construction industry.
