Project Manager Civil

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager – Building Construction to lead high-value construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, commercial management, quality assurance, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead, direct, and oversee building construction projects from initiation through to successful handover. • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, including Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors (QS), and Estimators. • Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and Abu Dhabi local authorities (e.g., Municipality, Civil Defense, ADDC). • Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project execution plans, master schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. • Financial & Commercial Control: Manage project costing, variation orders, progress billings, claims, and overall commercial aspects. • Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project risks and execute mitigation plans. Ensure zero compromise on quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. • Reporting: Review and approve technical submittals, progress updates, and monthly executive reports. Requirements & Qualifications: ⚠️ Note: Only candidates meeting the exact UAE experience and degree requirements will be considered. • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education is highly preferred). • Experience: Minimum of 20 Years of solid experience in the UAE construction industry (specifically in Building Construction). • Key Approvals / Approvals History: Proven track record and previous approvals/experience with at least one of the following key developers/entities in Abu Dhabi: • ALDAR • Musanada • ADNOC • Provis • Contracts & Regulations: Thorough understanding of FIDIC contracts, claims management, project controls, and Abu Dhabi building codes/regulations. • Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills. • Notice Period: Immediate joiners (within 1 to 2 weeks) are highly preferred. • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
