Mechanical Draftsman

Job Description

Requirements

• - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the UAE (preferred)
• - Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory)
• - Experience in MEP drafting and BIM coordination
• - Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• - Knowledge of Dubai authority regulations (DEWA, DM, etc.) is a plus
• - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• - Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and shop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Develop 3D models and BIM coordination drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accuracy and coordination
• Review and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations and company standards
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions
