Electrical Engineer/ Draftsman

Requirements

• - Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
• - Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Draftsman, MEP BIM Modeller or similar role.
• - Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• - Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination.
• - Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and detailed layouts.
• - Experience working with BIM models and multidisciplinary coordination.
• - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• - UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• - Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation.
• - Develop and modify electrical models using Revit MEP.
• - Prepare 2D drawings and technical details using AutoCAD.
• - Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
• - Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• - Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications.
• - Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows.
• - Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems.
• - Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• - Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions.
• - Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required.
