Mechanical Engineer (Consultant Experience)

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in engineering consultancy to support the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical systems across construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a consulting environment, with a focus on design review, technical advisory, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Develop and review mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) in line with project requirements and international standards. - Perform engineering calculations and validate design assumptions to ensure system efficiency and compliance. - Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals from contractors and consultants. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, electrical) to ensure proper system integration. - Provide technical input during design stages, value engineering, and design optimization. - Support project teams during construction by addressing RFIs and resolving technical issues. - Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project scope and quality standards. - Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, codes, and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
