Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by the management for this position. Review and ensure that work request is processed according to work permit procedures. Monitors procedures employed at work sites to ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards. Ensures all procedures and standards conform to the company and industry requirements. Ensures all the needed EHSS, PSM procedures are being followed. Establish and/or re-evaluates preventive maintenance schedule based on manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards for all assigned equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines and motors and recommend changes as per industry standard requirement. Prepares various reports, including daily, weekly and monthly reports covering progress and vehicle, equipment problems, overtime reports, manpower studies, capital and maintenance budget forecast and materials forecast, etc. for review by Plant Maintenance Manager. Technically analyze various equipment failures, decides corrective actions, discusses with technical support engineers and supervises implementation of repair procedures. Provides and coordinates various training programs for Saudi employees working under him. This includes on-the-job, fast track and development training as required and the monitoring of progress, appraisal and reporting accordingly. Coordinate with other supervisors and managers for maintenance work. Implement emergency repairs, preparing special reports and relieving immediate superior in his absence. Review all material, manpower and contract labour to ensure daily maintenance, preventive maintenance and turnaround works are carried out to minimize down time enforce safety needs. Participates in the daily operations meeting, and other team’s meeting as assigned. Education: Minimum Qualifications: Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant experience in the petrochemical industry of which 6 years have been in a supervisory position. Experience: Minimum Experience: Having a minimum of 10 years experience in a supervisory position in a Mechanical Section of a Maintenance Department preferably in the Middle East. Having a complete understanding and the ability to set up a CMMS, preferably SAP and a complete understanding of rotating and static equipment maintenance procedures. Being capable to supervise a multi-national work and make it into a world-class team. To set the annual budgets and ensure the section keeps within the budget restraints set. Having the ability to set training programs and implement the same. Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, including at least 6 years in a supervisory position. Experience: minimum 10 years in a supervisory role within a Mechanical Section of a Maintenance Department, preferably in the Middle East. Demonstrated ability to set up a CMMS (preferably SAP) and to supervise a multi-national team. Ability to set annual budgets and ensure compliance with budget constraints. Ability to design and implement training programs.
