Role Overview To assist in the facilitative growth in portfolio assets and revenue generation, ensuring compliance with Bank risk requirements, providing transaction structuring advice, identifying improvement areas in the completion of end to end credit approval process to ensure deals are executed on a timely basis and internal/external customer experience is maximised In this role, your key responsibilities include : Fast‑track NTB and Enhancement credit requests, managing the full end‑to‑end credit approval and execution process to ensure timely delivery of financing solutions to ensure generation of incremental revenues. Conduct the fast-tracking of the end-to-end NTB business credit approval, transaction executive, stakeholder management and the facilitation of deal execution to ensure the generation of incremental revenues (interest income, fee income and ancillary income) and the achievement of set targets Conduct the identification of potential opportunities for upfront Cross sell on NTBs in order to drive Risk-Adjusted Return On Capital (RAROC) maximisation, achieving set targets Provide transaction structuring advice within set guidelines and Banks requirements in order to facilitate delivery of tailored credit solutions in line with client and Banks requirements Assist in the review and critical assessment of CIBG NTB credit applications (including evaluation, financial analysis, credit structuring and risk mitigation) submitted for approvals under delegated lending authorities at various levels up to Management Credit Committee (MCC)/Board Executive Committee (BEC), identifying and reporting on improvement areas to ensure credit applications are balanced/robust, accurately reflect risk/reward outputs and adhere to Banks requirements Collate and report the feedback gained from key stakeholders (across CIBG, Credit, Risk and Technology teams), in order to develop and implement a framework that leverages process re-engineering and digital technologies in facilitating shorted turnaround times (TAT) and greater efficiency in delivering NTB business Conduct client engagement, alongside the RMs in order to develop deeper understanding of client credit needs The ideal candidate should have the following experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance At least 5 years of experience in Banking Problem solving and analytical Financial analysis and knowledge of Banking Regulations especially related to capital and liquidity PowerPoint, Excel, Word and MS Office What we offer: Competitive Salary: Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans. Conduct end-to-end NTB credit approval, transaction execution, stakeholder management, and deal execution to achieve incremental revenues (interest income, fee income, and ancillary income) and target attainment. Identify opportunities for upfront cross-sell on NTBs to drive RAROC maximisation and meet targets. Provide transaction structuring advice within guidelines to deliver tailored credit solutions aligning with client and bank requirements. Review and critically assess CIBG NTB credit applications (evaluation, financial analysis, credit structuring, risk mitigation) submitted for approvals up to MCC/BEC, reporting on improvements to ensure balanced/robust risk-reward outputs. Collate feedback from stakeholders across CIBG, Credit, Risk, and Technology to develop a framework leveraging process re-engineering and digital technologies for shorter turnaround times and greater NTB efficiency. Conduct client engagement with RMs to better understand client credit needs.
