Lead Engineer Construction- Offshore Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Lead Engineer Construction- Offshore for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE Responsibilities: - Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. - Oversee the installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures. - Ensure all construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. - Provide technical guidance to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure engineering standards are met. - Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements. - Deliver FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) constructability reviews and reports for offshore scopes. - Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards during all offshore operations. - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk activities. - Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to align construction goals. - Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders. - Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans. - Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays or unforeseen issues. Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar position. 5 to 8+ years' experience in offshore Projects. Preferred experience from Top Oil & Gas Operators/PMC/EPC Background. GCC experience is mandatory, preferably within ADNOC Group companies. PMC experience will be preferred. Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
