Senior Engineer, Procurement We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer, Procurement with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 15+ years of relevant experience in EPC projects, responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials to meet project schedules. Key Responsibilities: Procurement: - Review material requisitions (MRs) and technical specifications from engineering. - Source, evaluate, and prequalify vendors and suppliers. - Issue RFQs, evaluate commercial offers, and participate in bid tabulation. - Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery conditions. - Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with commercial and legal teams. - Ensure compliance with project procurement procedures and client requirements. Expediting: - Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgment, production status, and delivery timelines. - Monitor supplier progress to ensure milestones are met. - Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection schedules and dispatch clearance. - Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries. - Maintain expediting reports and dashboards for internal and client reporting. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. - 15+ years of procurement and expediting experience in oil & gas, preferably with EPC contractors or operators. - Strong knowledge of vendor management, project procurement, and material tracking. - Familiar with international procurement standards (INCOTERMS, API/ASME specs). - Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills. #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Engineering Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16331
