Lead Construction Engineer (Mechanical/ Piping)

Lead Construction Engineer (Mechanical/ Piping) Penspen is urgently looking for Lead Construction Engineer (Mechanical/ Piping) for one of our prestigious PMC projects in UAE. Qualification Required - The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Piping or related field). Responsibilities - Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. - Oversee the installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures. - Ensure all construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. - Provide technical guidance to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure engineering standards are met. - Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements. - Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards during all offshore operations. - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk activities. - Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to align construction goals. - Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders. - Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans. - Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays or unforeseen issues. Qualifications & Skills Required: - Minimum 15-20+ years of extensive offshore oil and gas construction experience, especially in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment - Strong experience in piping erection, mechanical equipment installation, and topside construction - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Familiarity with regional regulations and offshore construction practices. - PMC experience will be preferred - Previous experience in the ADNOC Offshore projects in the similar role would be an added advantage. #LI-AS1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 15206
