We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join the Support for Learning Team and work collaboratively to provide a high quality educational experience to students in Upper Primary & Senior School. The Support for Learning team is a highly committed team of specialist teachers and Learning Support Assistants who work cooperatively and imaginatively. The candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to provide support and guidance to colleagues and parents. Show evidence of having previous learning experience working with children. Be proactive in their approach providing learning support to primary and/or senior students in mainstream classes, small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom. Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
