We are also committed to strong pastoral care to support student well-being. We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who would like to join our supply list for short- and long-term cover. Supply teaching positions are non-contractual roles, and teaching assistants will be contacted when cover is required, for example, due to staff absence or maternity leave. The daily supply rate is determined based on the candidate’s years of full-time teaching assistant (or related) experience and is prorated hourly according to the number of hours worked. HR determines the applicable rate of pay, while the relevant academic team determines the number of hours worked. Show evidence of having previous learning experience working with children. Be proactive in their approach providing learning support to students in mainstream classes, small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom. Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
