Apply legislations and develop proposalsKEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIESProvide expertise and technical advice in all matters and issues related to legal matters including preparationand drafting and review of draft related laws and local orders and regulatory decisions.Review contracts and agreements between RTA and relevant stakeholders including terms and conditions tooutline the relationship between them and support RTA in all contracts concluded with other parties.# Prepare, review and study legal notes and arguments filed against the organization and reply accordingly.Prepare and deliver training programs for staff, participate in RTA publications and releases from legalperspective.Develop RTA business and services from legal perspective with coordination with other departments todevelop legislations governing all services provided by these departments.Prepare database of international, regional and local legal systems related to the legislation in the field oftransport, so as to benefit from it in the legislative field.Perform other related duties as assignedDevelop procedural and legal guidelines for analyzing legislation and regulatory issues.Liaise with Dubai Government Legal Department and other government departments in respect to legalmatters relating to RTA.Prepare and draft agreements and memorandums of understanding in order to build and develop successfulpartnerships and relations with strategic stakeholders.Prepare acceptance or rejection of compromising settlement offers and find the best solutions and agreement.Review and prepare draft legislation in relation to RTA's roles and responsibilities such as Decrees, Laws &Regulations to present them to the Ruler's Court or the Executive Council for approval and amend the existinglegislation as required.Prepare, review and edit reports, correspondences and other legal documents for top management in effectiveway.Conduct legal studies and provide recommendations for legal studies and projects to support all departments.Participate in preparing compromise and conciliation agreements concluded by RTA with others.Review and develop policies, procedures and methodologies relevant to legal aspect and provide observationsand comments on them.Review, study and evaluate contracts and agreement to meet RTA requirement and standard and minimize therisk and responsibility of RTA .Manage and prepare the necessary legal procedures relevant to Cases and Grievances and Arbitration filed byor against the RTA.Provide legal advice on issues related to Laws and legislations and to indicate the need for compliance andimplementation in accordance with those provisions.Prepare legal briefs; develop strategy, arguments, and testimony in preparation for presentation of case whenrequired.Conduct research to find best practices regarding contracts and agreements to improve RTA standards incontracts and agreements.Prepare and set the necessary Legal Grounds to solve complaints and grievances with legal aspects andcoordinate and follow up with the concerned departments.Monitor the Federal and transportation industry publications for early identification of legislative, regulatoryor economic impact on the RTA’s operations.
