Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Equipment Monitoring Operator - Operations Control Center (25000875)Job Description Equipment Monitoring Operator - Operations Control Center - (25000875) Job Description JOB PURPOSE:Oversee and supervise the daily operation of all bus routes, follow up the equipment and devices performance inthe center, and make the necessary actions towards the challenges facing drivers.ROLES & ACCOUNTABILITIES# Apply quality violations associated with the performance of bus drivers by the inspectors, stations controllers,and depot supervisors.# Coordinate with the concerned parties for processing of the alternative center in case of main centerbreakdown.# Receive incoming calls on the hotline relating to Dubai Metro and Tram emergency cases, Intelligent TrafficSystems and Customer Services.# Follow-up and ensure the performance of technical systems and devices in the bus control center 24/7.# Prepare technical reports related to electronic monitoring system for bus routes and the inventory and analysisof statistical data of daily operation outputs in TTSS system.# Train new operators on how to work on the equipment and AVM system.# Conduct necessary actions for the center’s equipment and facilities maintenance in coordination with relevantsupport departments and follow-up completion .# Electronic monitoring of buses routes, and give the necessary directions to resolve obstacles or challengesfaced by drivers.# Apply and implement the evacuation plans from the control center in case of emergency.# Implement the escalation plan related to control center.# Ensure the implementation and application of operators for all approved procedures for cases in accordancewith the control center operations manual .# Work to achieve KPIs targets for buses.# Distribute Work load between operators equally according to the workload management policy and humanerrors, and make necessary procedures towards operators faults.# Receive observations or complaints related to the screens malfunctions RTPI or inaccuracy of information andtransferred to the concerned parties.# Ensure availability of full data entry and updates in AVM system according to the new service amendingorders issued by the Planning and Business Development Department.# Apply security and safety requirements in bus control center and ensure the availability of all necessary relatedtools.# Implement scenario plans in case of metro or tram crashes and prepare special reports in this regard.# Coordinate and Communicate with concerns in depot stations to ensure the data entry or new updates areavailable in all buses.# Apply the visitors entrance mechanism to enter the Control Centers and inform them the necessary conditionsin this regard.# Follow-up the transmission of operators to the alternative center in case the main center breakdown for anyemergency reasons and take necessary procedures according to the center operations manual .# Prepare operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for the cases of daily operation affecting the performanceindicators. Qualifications Education# Diploma with 0-2 years of experience / OR High School with minimum of five years of experienceSkills# Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Monitor buses drivers’ behaviors in the field within bus stations right of way. Ensure 24/7 availability in all bus stations. Supervise and monitor the assets of RTA and penalize non-entitled users through fines according to rules and regulations. Monitor daily investors and strategic stakeholders to ensure tasks are accomplished as agreed. Implement instructions, circulars, and service change orders from management. Ensure daily cleanliness of buses and stations facilities according to approved washing program. Coordinate with the control center on bus traffic schedules, report accidents and disruptions that affect efficiency, ensuring they do not impact the strategic goal (people happiness). Receive driver and customer observations regarding station services and report to operations supervisor for clarification. Transfer findings from drivers and customers to the concerned department per procedures. Inform direct Operations supervisor of matters that could improve service quality. Conduct field training and support new staff in bus stations to improve service delivery. Monitor Health and Safety procedures and all equipment in bus stations.
