Assistant Professor - Learning & Edu. Leadership

United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Educational Technology/AI in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with expertise in at least one of the identified areas. Candidates should demonstrate the potential to establish and sustain a productive research agenda, secure internal and/or external research funding, and publish in high-quality, Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed journals, preferably in Q1 and Q2 journals. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising and mentoring students, contributing to curriculum and program development, and participating in departmental, college, and university service. Applicants should submit a cover letter and a detailed curriculum vitae that includes educational qualifications, a list of publications, current and future research interests, teaching experience and philosophy, and a list of courses previously taught. English is the primary language of instruction and academic communication at UAEU. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled. Grade: 23.

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: - An earned doctorate in one of the required disciplines or a closely related field. - Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English. - A strong record of research and publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals. Preferred qualifications: Preferred qualifications include: - Proficiency in Arabic is an asset. - Knowledge and understanding of Emirati culture and the UAE educational context are highly desirable.
