Associate Professor - Learning & Edu. Leadership

The Department of Learning and Educational Leadership in the College of Education at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Associate Professor position in Early Childhood Education. The Department seeks a scholar with a strong record of teaching, research, and service who can contribute to the growth of our graduate and undergraduate programs. Responsibilities include: • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Early Childhood Education Master’s program. • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, including supervision of graduation projects, theses and dissertations. • Maintain an active agenda of scholarly research and publication in Early Childhood Education. • Pursue external funding through grant writing and research collaborations. • Establish interdisciplinary partnerships with other academic units within the College, country, and internationally. • Build and sustain partnerships with schools and educational organizations. • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement. • Provide service to the department, college, university, and the broader educational community. • Organize and facilitate professional workshops for university and community stakeholders. Grade: 22.

• An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field from an accredited and highly reputable institution. • A strong record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably Scopus-indexed Q1 and Q2 journals. • Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level. • Demonstrated experience in advising graduate students and supervising dissertations/theses. • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service. • Proficiency in English language. Preferred qualifications: • Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus. • Knowledge and experience with the UAE culture and education system is a plus.
