Laundry Supervisor

Novotel Dubai Gold District Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and team activities. Ensure guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms, and other items are processed accurately and on time. Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing standards. Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage, and quality. Allocate daily duties and monitor team performance and productivity. Ensure proper use, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laundry equipment. Monitor laundry chemicals, supplies, and linen inventory to minimize wastage. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and chemical handling. Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen and uniform requirements. Train and coach team members on laundry procedures, quality standards, and safe working practices. Report equipment breakdowns, linen shortages, damages, and operational issues to management. Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel laundry operation, preferably in a supervisory role. Good knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, linen handling, and finishing processes. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team. Previous experience in an international hotel brand is preferred.
