Dry Utility Inspector

WSP is seeking a Dry Utility Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team and support the construction supervision of major transportation, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting dry utility works, monitoring site construction activities, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards throughout project delivery.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dry Utility Inspector on infrastructure, roads, transportation, or utility projects. Proven experience in construction supervision consultancy environments. Strong knowledge of dry utility systems including power distribution, street lighting, telecom, ICT, and associated infrastructure. Familiarity with utility authority standards and specifications within the UAE. Experience inspecting trenching, duct banks, cable installations, utility chambers, and associated civil works. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Experience witnessing testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience on major infrastructure and transportation projects within Abu Dhabi or the UAE is preferred.
