Design and Interface Manager

WSP in the Middle East are currently seeking a Design Interface Manager – Aviation Projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing interfaces across a complex aviation infrastructure programme, ensuring effective coordination between stakeholders, including governmental authorities, airport operators, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and internal project teams. The role requires the establishment and management of structured interface and stakeholder engagement processes to support programme delivery, facilitate timely decision-making, and ensure the resolution of interface-related issues. The Design Interface Manager will monitor critical dependencies, manage interface risks, and provide regular reporting to the Project Director, supporting the successful delivery of the programme in accordance with project objectives, schedules, and stakeholder requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant field. 20+ years of experience in interface management, stakeholder management, or project coordination within large ‑ scale aviation or major infrastructure projects. Experience working with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, or large PMC/consultancy organisations (highly preferred). Strong technical understanding of aviation infrastructure, design processes, construction interfaces, and multi ‑ party coordination.
