What You’ll Be Doing: Business Development & Portfolio Growth Drive portfolio growth by acquiring new-to-bank customers and expanding existing client relationships. Achieve asset growth, revenue, fee income, and cross-sell targets in line with business objectives. Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the Commercial Banking segment. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers. Relationship Management Develop trusted relationships with clients and become their primary banking advisor. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored banking solutions to meet their business needs. Maintain regular engagement with customers to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities. Ensure a high standard of service delivery and client satisfaction. Credit & Lending Prepare credit proposals, credit memos, amendments, revalidations, extensions, and related documentation. Conduct financial statement analysis and industry assessments. Present lending proposals while ensuring adherence to the Bank’s risk appetite and credit policies. Monitor portfolio quality and covenant compliance. Transaction & Operational Support Support clients with transactional banking requirements and financing solutions. Coordinate disbursements and documentation with Operations, Credit, Trade Finance, and Corporate Administration teams. Assist with account opening, profile updates, digital banking applications, and other servicing requirements. Ensure timely resolution of customer requests and operational matters. Stakeholder Management Work closely with Risk, Credit, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams. Coordinate internal approvals and documentation to facilitate efficient turnaround times. Build effective working relationships across the Bank to support client needs. Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks. Maintain strong awareness of AML, KYC, and Central Bank regulations. Ensure clients meet compliance standards and all documentation requirements. Support audit and risk-management requirements across the portfolio. What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications will be an advantage. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, or a similar relationship management role. Proven track record in business development, portfolio growth, and credit management. Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of commercial lending, credit analysis, and financial products. Knowledge of the UAE banking market and local business environment. Familiarity with banking regulations, AML requirements, and credit risk principles.
