Engineer - Operation Excellence

Job Summary: NOV is looking for an Engineer, Operational Excellence to join our Fiber Glass Systems team in Sohar, Oman. This role will lead site-level operational excellence and quality control activities, supervise the QC team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in quality, operational excellence, manufacturing, inspection, testing, or process improvement. Experience with quality control, RCA/CAPA, NCR management, inspection planning, data analysis, and continuous improvement. Experience supervising or coordinating a technical team. Knowledge of QMS, Lean/CI tools, KPI tracking, document control, calibration, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong reporting/presentation skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Preferred Experience in fiberglass, composites, pipe manufacturing, oilfield equipment, or similar manufacturing environments. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification. Experience with Power BI, Minitab, ERP/MES, or quality management systems. Arabic language skills and local market experience are an advantage.
