QAQC Lead

Wood is recruiting for a Lead QAQC Engineer to be seconded to the client office. Position is based in Musandam, Oman for a long-term assignment.

It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.  Experience: University Degree in Mechanical / Chemical or equivalent Engineering Discipline Certified Lead Auditor to any of the Management Systems – ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001. Discipline specific certifications required (e.g. Welding, NDT, Coating etc.) Minimum Experience: Shall have Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in Oil and Petrochemical Industry. Shall be experienced in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Phases of Engineering Projects in Oil and Gas Industry. Inspection and testing experience at manufacturing units and Construction sites required. Multidiscipline Quality Control experience is preferred. Experience with owner side such as Major Operating Companies, Multinational Project Management Companies preferred.  Experience in API 650 Storage Tanks, Process Piping, Onshore Pipeline, Pumps, Package Equipment. Experience in SBM, PLEM, Subsea pipeline, Fiber Optic Cable required for Offshore position. Good Knowledge in the application of industry codes and standards
