Electrical Engineer - Operations and Maintenance

Wood is currently recruiting for a Rotational Support / Remote Electrical Engineer to join its to join its UAE business unit: This is a full-time position in Sharjah, UAE. The rotational support Electrical Engineer will provide electrical engineering (EE) expertise to site based teams by performing and reviewing complex, or non-routine electrical engineering calculation and analyses.

What makes you remarkable?  Education • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. • Professional accreditation – Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer. Experience and Job Requirements • Substantial experience and technical understanding of engineering, maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in oil & gas facilities. • Knowledge of governing codes, industry standards and local regulations relevant to electrical engineering, and proven ability in practical application of engineering standards and practices for electrical equipment. • Sound stakeholder management experience.
