Mechanical Engineer - Operations & Maintenance

Wood is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join its UAE business unit focusing on providing day to day Mechanical Engineering support for site operations related queries / activities / risks to delivery of safe, reliable and compliant operations. This role is a full-time on-site role in Sharjah Reports to: Operations Engineering Manager

Expected: BSc or BEng or MEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering subject. Professional accreditation – Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer. Experience and Job Requirements: Significant experience in an Operations Mechanical Engineering support role. Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering, with sound knowledge of the relevant industry codes, standards and regulations, and the ability to initiate guidance on the appropriate designs and systems to prevent, control and mitigate risks. Sound stakeholder management experience.

Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support for site operations, addressing queries, activities and risks to ensure delivery of safe, reliable and compliant operations.
