To assess, diagnose, and monitor neurological disorders by studying the electrical activity of the nervous system using specialized tests and equipment.

PhD or MD in Neurophysiology or related field Certification (e.g., ABCN or equivalent) Proficiency in neurophysiological testing equipment Strong analytical and communication skills Subspeciality Requirements Bachelor’s and Master’s in neuroscience or related field Completion of fellowship/training in neurophysiology 1–2 years clinical or research experience preferred Experience in hospital or academic settings
