Technical Manager - Fit Out / Interiors

I am looking for a Technical Manager to oversee the technical delivery of high-end interior fit-out projects in Riyadh with a Design & Build Fit-Out Contractor. The company specialises in delivering complex interior fit-out projects across Hospitality (Hotels), Commercial, Luxury F&B and Retail sectors. This position requires a technically strong candidate with proven experience working for a Fit-Out contractor or within Fit-Out delivery, capable of managing technical teams, resolving complex design and construction challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the technical and engineering department across multiple interior fit-out projects. • Oversee the preparation, coordination and approval of shop drawings, material submittals and technical documentation. • Manage technical coordination between architectural, interior design, MEP, structural and specialist subcontractors. • Review design drawings, specifications and contractual requirements to identify technical issues and develop practical solutions. • Provide technical support to project managers and site teams throughout the construction and installation stages. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges. • Oversee technical submissions, RFIs, design modifications and approvals to maintain project programmes. • Manage and mentor a team of technical engineers, architects and draftsmen. • Ensure all technical deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards and relevant KSA regulations. Candidate Requirements: • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. • Ideally 7+ years of relevant experience in Fit-Out/Interiors industry. • Strong technical knowledge of high-end interior fit-out, joinery, finishes, specialist installations and MEP coordination. • Experience delivering Hotels, Commercial Offices, Luxury Retail, F&B or similarly complex interior projects. • Strong understanding of shop drawings, construction detailing, material specifications and installation methodologies. • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously.
