We're Hiring | Specialist Gastroenterologist 📍 Location: Dubai 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive system disorders while delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret laboratory, imaging, and endoscopic investigations • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, within approved clinical privileges • Evaluate and manage liver diseases, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic digestive disorders • Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatic disorders, and biliary tract diseases • Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care, ensuring patient safety and appropriate follow-up • Collaborate with general surgeons, hepatologists, oncologists, and other medical specialists • Educate patients regarding digestive health, lifestyle modifications, preventive care, and treatment options • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards • Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuous professional development Requirements Qualifications & Requirements • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent recognized medical qualification • Recognized postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, or an equivalent approved training pathway • Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent recognized qualification in Gastroenterology • Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain one • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for the Specialist title • Demonstrated expertise in gastrointestinal endoscopy and digestive disease management • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills Benefits • Competitive, tax-free salary package • Comprehensive medical insurance and employment benefits • Access to modern endoscopy facilities and advanced diagnostic technologies • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement • Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary working environment • Long-term career growth opportunities in Dubai Important Note for Applicants If you have already submitted your CV to Astra Promed FZC , please do not reapply for the same or other advertised positions.
