The successful candidate will be comfortable developing long-term treatment plans, managing chronic digestive disorders, performing procedures, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Essential Requirements DHA, DOH (HAAD), or MOH UAE Licensed Specialist Gastroenterologist. Minimum 5 years’ post-specialist experience. Previous UAE clinical experience. Strong outpatient Gastroenterology experience. Procedural Gastroenterology experience. Excellent patient engagement and communication skills. DHA Licensed or DHA Eligible Specialist Gastroenterologist. Minimum 5+ years of experience at Specialist level post-qualification. Strong experience in outpatient (OPD) and procedural gastroenterology. Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations. Excellent communication and patient engagement skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Patient-focused, ethical, and quality-driven in clinical practice. Arabic language skills are an advantage. MBBS / MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. Completed specialty qualification recognised by DHA / HAAD / MOH. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an advantage. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Provide comprehensive specialist gastroenterology care in line with best practice guidelines and regulatory standards. Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive disorders. Perform endoscopic procedures and relevant diagnostic interventions. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic investigations. Develop and manage personalised treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. Provide expert clinical opinions and take independent responsibility for patient care. Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimise outcomes. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental development. Support medical education and ongoing professional development activities. Promote patient education, preventive care, and long-term disease management.
