# JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT MANAGER (CIVIL CONSTRUCTION) *Industry:* Construction / Main Contractor *Position:* Project Manager *Experience Required:* 16–20 Years *Location:* UAE ### Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 16–20 years of extensive experience in core building construction, particularly high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate must have strong project execution and leadership experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise buildings of 50 floors or above. ### Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage the complete execution of high-rise building construction projects from commencement to successful handover. - Lead and coordinate project teams, including construction, engineering, planning, QA/QC, HSE and MEP departments. - Ensure project completion within approved timelines, budgets and quality standards. - Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective measures. - Manage project budgets, cost control, resource allocation and contractual obligations. - Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal management. - Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, UAE construction regulations and HSE standards. - Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to senior management. - Resolve technical and operational challenges and ensure smooth project execution. - Maintain effective project documentation and ensure successful project handover. ### Mandatory Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. - 16–20 years of overall experience in core building construction. - Extensive experience with a reputed main contractor is mandatory. - *The candidate's last company must have experience in executing high-rise building projects of at least 50 floors.* - Must have hands-on experience managing large-scale high-rise building projects. - Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, budgeting and execution. - Proven leadership and team management capabilities. - UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred. ### Important Candidate Selection Criteria - Candidates from main contracting companies only. - Last company experience involving a minimum of 50-floor high-rise building construction is mandatory. - Core building construction experience is essential. - Candidates with infrastructure, road, oil & gas, landscaping or precast-only backgrounds will not be considered. - CVs must clearly mention the project name, building height (number of floors), project value and scope of work handled. *Recruitment Priority: * Urgent
