Vice President of the Financial Systems Division

Role Description The Vice President of the Financial Systems Division is a part-time, hybrid role based in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, Oman, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees financial systems and processes, including budgeting tools, reporting frameworks, and the integrity of financial data across the division. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, monitoring financial performance, analyzing key metrics, and preparing management reports that support strategic decision-making. The role collaborates with leadership to develop financial plans, implement controls, and optimize workflows for financial reporting and forecasting. The Vice President also guides continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems, supports compliance with internal policies, and provides mentorship to team members involved in finance-related activities. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic financial decisions. • Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including the ability to interpret, prepare, and present reports for senior leadership. • Well-developed Analytical Skills, with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and recommend actions that improve financial performance and system efficiency. • Experience implementing or managing financial systems and tools, including reporting platforms, ERP, or accounting software. • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and guide teams in a hybrid work environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, practical terms. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is an asset. • Demonstrated ability to work part-time while maintaining accountability for deadlines, priorities, and high-quality deliverables.
