Business Analyst Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Employment Type: Contract Seniority: Junior to Mid-Level Overview We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of technology, digital transformation, and product development initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Delivery Teams, Developers, and QA professionals to capture, analyse, and document business requirements while ensuring solutions align with business objectives and user expectations. Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & Documentation • Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and system requirements. • Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders. • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications. • Produce high-quality documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, and use cases. • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and aligned with project objectives. Stakeholder Engagement • Work closely with Product Owners, business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to validate requirements and priorities. • Facilitate discussions to clarify workflows, business rules, user journeys, and scope boundaries. • Support alignment between business expectations and delivery outcomes. • Effectively communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences. Solution Delivery Support • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Support feature walkthroughs, solution reviews, and functional validation activities. • Assist with identifying dependencies, risks, gaps, and potential impacts to scope. • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies. • Support the successful delivery of product enhancements and transformation initiatives. Testing & UAT • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, and execution. • Assist with issue investigation, defect triage, and resolution validation. • Work alongside stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements. • Coordinate UAT sign-offs and stakeholder approvals. Process Improvement & Change Management • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process optimisation. • Evaluate proposed changes and assess business impacts. • Support change requests, scope updates, and enhancement initiatives. • Promote best practices in business analysis and requirements management. Required Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role. • Experience supporting technology, software development, or digital transformation projects. • Understanding of software delivery lifecycles and project delivery methodologies. • Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
