Fit-Out Site Engineer - 6 Months Contract

Site Engineer – Villa Finishes & Interior Fit-Out Location: Dubai, UAE Project Duration: Approximately 6 Months Project Type: High-End Villa / Residential Fit-Out Experience: 5–10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Finishes & Interior Fit-Out to supervise the final stages of a luxury villa project in Dubai. The role will focus on finishing works, minor architectural modifications, MEP coordination, interior fit-out, kitchen installation, furniture, AV works, snagging, and handover. The successful candidate will act as the client-side/site coordination point, ensuring works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities • Supervise villa finishing and interior fit-out works on site. • Monitor minor demolition, structural modifications, make-good works, and architectural changes. • Coordinate MEP modifications, electrical upgrades, and first-fix requirements. • Inspect completed works against approved drawings, samples, specifications, and mock-ups. • Identify and reject defective or non-compliant work. • Coordinate interfaces between the developer, consultants, contractors, and client-appointed vendors. • Review shop drawings from a site-fit and buildability perspective. • Support coordination of aluminum, kitchen, AV, furniture, and associated specialist works. • Monitor material deliveries and record any damages, shortages, or discrepancies. • Follow up on procurement, submittals, and material approvals. • Prepare snagging lists prior to handover and verify closure of outstanding items. • Monitor site progress and highlight delays, risks, and interface issues. • Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and progress updates. • Ensure works comply with project quality, safety, and site requirements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. • 5–10 years of experience in finishing, fit-out, or high-end residential projects. • Strong experience in villa finishes, interior fit-out, snagging, and handover. • Good understanding of architectural finishes and MEP coordination. • Experience coordinating specialist contractors such as kitchen, joinery, aluminum, furniture, and AV contractors. • Ability to review shop drawings from a practical site-execution perspective. • Strong quality-control and snagging experience. • Good communication and stakeholder-coordination skills. • UAE project experience is strongly preferred. • Available for a 6-month project-based assignment in Dubai.
