Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Dubai. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of lifts and escalators to ensure safe and reliable operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance schedules, replacing worn components, and documenting service activities accurately. The role also involves responding to service calls, coordinating with supervisors and customers, adhering to safety standards and company procedures, and supporting continuous improvement in maintenance practices. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for lifts and escalators. • Candidates should possess robust Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults. • Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. • Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering (or equivalent) is preferred. • Experience in elevator, escalator, or similar industrial equipment maintenance is highly beneficial. • Knowledge of safety regulations, use of hand and power tools, and ability to read technical drawings and manuals. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently and within a team. • Willingness to work in shifts, respond to emergency call-outs, and operate in field conditions across Dubai.
