About the role

Location: Dubai, UAE (on-site at our atelier) Employment type: Full-time About the role We are looking for a Fashion Designer to join our atelier and help shape our collections from first idea to finished garment. You will work closely with the founder and the production team, turning research and concepts into designs that can be made to a high standard. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who enjoys being close to the cutting table as much as the sketchbook. Key responsibilities • Design new styles for ready-to-wear and custom-made orders, in line with the brand's creative direction. • Research trends, silhouettes, colours and fabrics for upcoming seasons, and present your findings to support design decisions. • Prepare sketches, mood boards, trend reports and inspiration presentations. • Create technical drawings and clear specifications for the cutting and sewing teams. • Select fabrics, trims and embellishments, and work with suppliers on samples and availability. • Follow samples from pattern to final fitting, and suggest corrections to fit, finish and proportion. • Act as the link between design and production so that each style is made as intended. • Review daily work in cutting, patternmaking, sewing and beading to confirm it meets design standards. • Help manage collection timelines, sample schedules and project deadlines. • Support the preparation of collection launches, photoshoots and fashion shows. Skills and qualifications • Degree or diploma in fashion design, or equivalent practical experience. • Minimum 1 year of experience in couture. • A portfolio showing your design work and range. • Strong sketching and technical drawing skills. • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, CLO 3D or similar design software, and Microsoft Office. • Good understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, colour and textiles, including fabrics such as crepe, chiffon, taffeta, brocade, velvet and tulle. • Strong organisation and time management, with close attention to detail. • Clear written and spoken English, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Availability for occasional extended hours during production peaks and collection launches. What we offer • The chance to see your designs through the complete process, from concept to finished product, in our own atelier. • Close collaboration with the founder and a skilled in-house production team. • Real creative input across ready-to-wear and custom-made pieces. • Opportunities to grow your skills and professional network in the Dubai fashion industry. How to apply Please apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a link to your portfolio.
