Job Title: Senior Couture Fashion Designer Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates Industry: Luxury Fashion / Haute Couture Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Couture Fashion Designer to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in haute couture, luxury womenswear, and occasionwear, with a strong understanding of garment construction, intricate detailing, and high-end craftsmanship. The successful candidate will lead the creative development of couture collections, translating concepts into sophisticated designs that reflect the brand’s identity and luxury positioning. Key Responsibilities • Develop original couture designs, including evening gowns, formalwear, bridalwear, and statement pieces. • Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and embellishment techniques relevant to luxury fashion. • Create design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and detailed technical drawings. • Select appropriate fabrics, trims, embroidery, embellishments, and other materials for each design. • Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, embroiderers, and production teams to bring designs to life. • Oversee the development of samples, fittings, alterations, and final garment finishing. • Ensure exceptional quality, fit, construction, and attention to detail across all couture pieces. • Develop and refine collections in line with the brand’s creative direction and seasonal requirements. • Manage multiple design projects and meet collection development and production deadlines. • Stay updated on international couture trends, luxury fashion markets, and innovative design techniques. Requirements • Proven experience as a Senior Fashion Designer, Couture Designer, or in a similar role within luxury fashion. • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in haute couture, luxury womenswear, eveningwear, or bridalwear. • Excellent knowledge of fabrics, draping, pattern making, garment construction, and couture finishing techniques. • Experience working with intricate embroidery, beadwork, embellishments, and detailed handcraftsmanship. • Strong creative vision, attention to detail, and understanding of luxury fashion aesthetics. • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with production teams. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work on-site in Ajman, UAE.
