General Dentist

Role Description The General Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients in a full-time, on-site capacity at Alfardan Medical’s facility in Lusail. Daily responsibilities include performing routine dental examinations, diagnosing oral conditions, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing preventive, restorative, endodontic, minor surgical, and emergency dental services. The General Dentist will educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, clearly explain treatment options and expected outcomes, and ensure a comfortable and patient-centered experience. The role requires close collaboration with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, coordinated, and high-quality care in accordance with Alfardan Medical’s clinical standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to infection prevention and safety protocols, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent recognized dental qualification. • Valid professional licensure or eligibility for licensure in Qatar. • Strong clinical competency in general dentistry, including diagnosis, preventive care, restorative procedures, endodontic treatments, minor oral surgery, and management of dental emergencies. • Excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and clearly explain procedures and treatment plans. • Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and accurate clinical documentation. • Familiarity with electronic health records, digital imaging systems, and modern dental technologies. • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural healthcare environment. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a busy clinical schedule while maintaining high standards of care. • Fluency in both English and Arabic is required. • Previous experience in a high-quality private, hospital-based, or international dental setting is preferred.
