Procurement Specialist (Saudi)

Responsible for managing and coordinating all procurement operations for materials, products, and services required for hotel operations. Ensures the highest quality standards, best prices, and optimal delivery terms on time to support operational continuity and enhance spending efficiency Responsibilities : • Continuously search for new local and international suppliers, evaluating their financial and operational capabilities against strict selection criteria. • Build strategic partnerships and conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations (focusing on quality, delivery timeliness, and contractual compliance). • Manage supply chain risks and maintain backup vendor lists to handle potential disruptions or emergency situations effectively. • Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and delivery schedules without compromising hospitality quality standards. • Draft and review seasonal and annual vendor contracts. • Regularly analyze market price trends and propose cost-effective operational alternatives to optimize hotel budgets. • Monitor order fulfillment from approval to physical delivery, ensuring shipped items match exact order specifications. • Prepare periodic reports (monthly/quarterly) on purchasing activities, spending metrics, and cost savings achieved against approved budgets. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent. • Experience: 3 to 5 years of practical procurement experience specifically within the hotel and hospitality industry. • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
